Wet weather, Hunter boots and a village in India…

0

While raindrops fall over the entirety of the UK and the water swirls around our feet as we trudge to work in our wellington boots let’s spare a thought for Mawsynram, the village in India that holds the title for the wettest place on Earth. On average they receive 11, 872 millimetres of rainfall a year. That’s staggeringly over twice the average annual rainfall in the very wettest parts of the UK.

The weather in Mawsynram makes our April showers seem somewhat shy…

Hunter Wellingtons

1. Ally Capellino’s rucksack is waterproof, practical and stylish and means you’ll have your hands free for your umbrella. (£218)

2. Rainwave make these fab ponchos that roll up super small should the rain subside – what’s more with one of these there’s no need for an umbrella. (£48)

3. Hunter wellingtons need no introduction… (£75)
