Word Up!

We love our fashion blogger friends in the UK and so this month we challenged their blog skills by asking them to describe what bits made their pulses race from the s-p site. We’ve selected our favourite seven; tell us which one you like the most, and we’ll give the winner their chosen accessory.

Name:  Ayden

Blog: Little Blog of Horrors

Accessory: Ray Ban Classic Aviators

Three words to describe accessory: Iconic, timeless, and ultra cool :)

This accessory reminds you of: The 1980′s movie Topgun, where a seriously young (and pretty damn gorgeous) Tom Cruise rocked a pair of Ray Ban Aviators with gold frames and dark lenses. Such a legend!

Best worn with: I wish my funny shaped head suited hats, as I think the rock chick feel of the Aviators would look complete with a straw trilby hat and Hunter wellies at a festival. I think the special thing about these classic glasses is the fact that they really do go with almost anything – adding another level of cool to a casual jeans and t-shirt combo, or to edge up a cute summer dress.

Best worn to: Lazing on the beach, cruising on a road trip, shopping or lunch in the city on a hot summer’s day, or hiding in the back garden on a sun lounger with your iPod and a strawberry and lime cider.

Name:  Ellie

Blog: Pretty Much Penniless

Accessory: Anya Hindmarch Large Maeve Zip Round Wallet

Three words to describe accessory: Classic, essential, understated.

This accessory reminds you of: My grandma, whose most treasured possession was her french vintage purse made of the softest calf skin. She always joked that having a quality purse made up for the fact it was usually empty.

Best worn with: A suitably gorgeous bag to house it in and with an array of luxury accessories to keep it company.

Best worn to: Preferably somewhere that requires it to be pulled out of your bag regularly, so shopping obviously. I don’t think it would matter if it were Liberty or Lidl!

Name:  Emma

Blog: Is This Real Life?

Best worn to The beach, chilling in the sunshine or just to finish off a beautiful outfit!

Name:  Hattie

Blog: Inside The Mind Of A Discoball

Name:  Yulia

Blog: Fashion Watching

Accessory: Bric’s Nylon Holdall

Three words to describe accessory: Chic, Timeless, Easy.
