FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

SARAH WALTER

Sarah began her career right at the top of the glossy pile on British Vogue where her love for all things fashionable, fantastic and iconic flourished. With a CV that also boasts creative direction at two of the UK's top fashion retailers her eye for fashion and style is the ultimate balance of desirability and affordability.

"In all my previous lives I was definitely an African.
From the moment I walk off the plane in Lusaka, Nairobi or Harare and step onto the tarmac inhaling that unique 'African' smell, I'm home.
Memories of khaki shorts and tees in the scorching midday sun, bleached blonde hair and sunglasses on the Land Rover and then layers of cashmere when it's campfire and story time, are among my best."

FASHION DIRECTOR

SAM JONES

With an unbeatable eye for great, effortless style, when Sam enters the office everyone takes note of the cool pieces she's wearing. Her jobs have included the enviable head of buying for Pied a Terre, so shoe-aholics take note of the amazing footwear selections she finds for our pages, among all the other great fashion finds she makes on her world travels.

"New York never fails to give me goose bumps. I go every year without fail, and still get excited about the buzz.
It's a place for me where I can really experiment with my style, discover amazing new vintage shops and drink the nights away at speakeasies with friends. I'll always call in to Resurrection on Mott Street to lust after beautiful vintage Chanel. Supper in the East Village is my favourite place for those cosy winter dinners."

BEAUTY DIRECTOR

EMMA BANNISTER

With a decade of magazine and newspaper experience (including beauty director of British Marie Claire) behind her, the challenge of sorting the good from the bad and the ugly is a task our beauty director relishes.

"For a staycation the beach or Parrog in Newport, Pembrokeshire is one of my most treasured places.
The golden sand bar only fully appears at low tide. It may not be the warmest place in the world but wrapped in a great aran knit with a pair of sturdy wellies on, inhaling the salt air and rock pooling is bliss."

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

ASHLEIGH BURNSIDE

Ashleigh cut her teeth at online style bible WGSN. The hub of all things trend and inspiration focussed: She's a girl with an eye for everything happening and of the moment, be it fashion, beauty, interiors, music or culture. Ashleigh's role is to make your journey through style-passport a totally enjoyable one.

"Vegas, love it or hate it is always full of amusing things to do. Straight off the plane direct your taxi towards The Peppermill for a Margarita and the largest portions you've ever seen.
The next day abandon the slot machines on the strip and head to the Neon Graveyard- where Vegas signs are laid to rest. A photographer's dream!"

MERCHANDISING DIRECTOR

CORRI HOMAN BERRY

It's no mean feat keeping an eye on all the fashion and beauty finds that travel through our offices, but Corri's background at one of the country's largest high street fashion retailers means she can keep everything in check and fill us in on your favourite pieces and our best sellers.

"Combining breath taking scenery with high adrenaline antics and the best wine in the world, my best ever holiday was spending three weeks in a campervan in New Zealand.
Swimming out at sea off the back of a boat with dolphins coming to play and swim with us at Kaikoura was amazing, as was reliving the encounter back at base, kicking back with a glass of wine from the local vineyard."

TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR

EMILIANO NIEDDU

Our technology expert brings a European flavour to the style-passport office. An Italian, he qualified in law at the University of Rome but ditched the courtroom to pursue his love of all things cyber from designing core framework for Tangent, working with clients such as Ted Baker, Atari and Microfocus, heading the development team for Be Londoner and setting up Matinext a software development company."

" My idea of the perfect holiday is by the sea on a secluded beach in Sardinia. The weather is amazing and the sea is totally revitalising. Great fresh fish and seafood and crisp chilled white wine. "

OFFICE MANAGER

RUTH TURNBULL

When I was five I wanted to be a combine harvester driver and I longed to play the bagpipes.

"My style-passport: Dornoch beach with my mum and my dog; amazing stretch of sand, Scottish sun and a biting breeze."

GRAPHIC SUPERVISOR

JOEY GRAHAM

Joey secretly wanted to be a professional skate boarder but put his Tony Hawk dreams aside to pursue a caffeine fueled career in graphic design."

"My style-passport: A weisswurst and a stein in the beer gardens of Munich"

PHOTOGRAPHER

NICHOLAS KAY

Nicholas misspent his youth when growing up in France, DJ-ing in underground clubs.

"My style-passport: I love Jamaica; the music, the atmosphere, the light."

DEPUTY EDITOR

SOPHIE MCELLIGOTT

Sophie likes hanging out in the British library because it makes her feel young, fashionable and delightfully shallow.

"My style-passport: Berlin is one of my favourite getaways - loads to do but plenty of space to do it in."
